What you need
Who might need it?
- Heavy vehicle drivers (Group 2: C1, C1E, C, CE, D1, D1E, D, DE), when renewing from age 50
- Anyone getting a heavy vehicle licence
- Group 2 endorsement (for example, for TVDE)
- Cars and motorcycles (Group 1): only when the doctor says so or the licence has that restriction
The psychological assessment is not compulsory for all drivers.

No. Only in situations set by law, mainly for heavy vehicles and Group 2.
