Requirements
What you need to start
We handle the enrolment and paperwork with you.
- Identity document showing habitual residence in Portugal
- Portuguese tax number (NIF)
- Electronic medical certificate — done at the school
- Be at least 16 (you can enrol at 15½)
- Under 18: authorisation from your legal guardian

Training
How you learn at MM Ouressa
Theory
32 hours
A single theory course for both categories.
Classes at the school and online study on the training platform.
Practical
24 hours
12 hours and at least 120 km on a motorcycle (A1), and 12 hours and at least 120 km on a quadricycle (B1).
Driving lessons Monday to Saturday, with an instructor who follows your progress.
Tests: Theory test with 40 questions and a practical test for each category.
The hours shown are the legal minimum. If you need more practice, each extra lesson costs 40 € (50 min).
